Hebrews 3:13-14
But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.

Today is a good day to “bring it” as they say. Bringing it means to take hold of the reality of our relationship with God our Father and obeying him as faithful and loving children. It also means representing the king of the universe in the affairs of the world. Our moral lifestyle and pursuit of God’s kingdom brings God’s grace and kingdom to the world.
This calls for a God-sized confidence. If we are going to face down the forces of evil in the world, and truly advance God’s kingdom against the forces of evil all around us we will need confidence. We cannot represent Christ if we are not willing to stand tall and strong.
Our relationship with God is not an autopilot proposition. We can be led by the greatest human leader and fall short. This is a call to faithful living. This is a call to intentional living. This is a call to confidence founded on faith in God’s powerful goodness and in aligning ourselves with Christ’s kingdom’s call.
Hebrews 3:13-19
But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.15 As it is said,
“Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”
16 For who were those who heard and yet rebelled? Was it not all those who left Egypt led by Moses? 17 And with whom was he provoked for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did he swear that they would not enter his rest, but to those who were disobedient? 19 So we see that they were unable to enter because of unbelief.
